NIGROL transmission oil
— mineral oil without additives, which is unrefined viscous residues of straight distillation of oil. It is rarely used in obsolete types of equipment for lubrication of transmission units at contact stresses up to 600 mPa and oil temperature in the volume up to 90 °C. It is characterized by unsatisfactory anti-wear, antioxidant and low-temperature properties. At oil refineries, 2 types of Nigrol are produced by special order of customers - winter and summer. Winter and summer nigrols differ in viscosity, flash point and solidification point.
According to GOST 17479.2-85, Nigrol belongs to the TM-1 group. This group also includes base oils (TV-20, TS-14.5), which serve as the basis for the production of automotive transmission oils.
